Grein is located at a picturisque scenic valley, along the Danube. The Greinburg castle was originally from 1490. The beautiful courtyard and gardens are well maintained. Really interesting to visit.

This privately owned castle is truly a treasure. Not the usual stop but well worth the trip. We had a splendid tour.

This place is a perfect showcase of how much the so-called nobles have robbed and stolen from the population to collect their riches and their wealth. The palace is really beautiful, it is still in a fantastic condition, definitely worth visiting. An interesting side note...More

A magnificently restored castle that is privately owned. You get to explore through many of the rooms of the Castle. The lower level room was one of the most amazing things I have ever seen. I wont tell what it is, because it will spoil...More
