A beautiful beach with large area to lay in the sun or walk. Safe for children and really stunning vista up and down the beach. Plenty of parking close by and a great seafood restaurant or takeaway. Surf lessons are given here too. No dogs...More

The drive to the beach with the roses blomming (early may) was as big experience as comming to the beach. We were almost alone early in the morning, with the sound of the roaring waves, the majestic cliffs, the smell of the salty sea and...More

Me and Becky love this place as the Atlantic waves crash into the rocks at the edge of the golden sand. Is a secret haven that all of the surf schools seem to love

Really beautiful beach with decent waves. There are a lot of surf schools performing their lessons but it's still enough space because the beach is quite big. The rocks are keeping out the wind and also during hot days there are not that many people.

This surfers beach is incredible! Loooooong sandy beaches, amazing rocks and huge waves, but watch out, the sea is literally Freeeeeezing and the undertow is very strong. Amazing beach restaurant with fresh fish and lots more, the best food we had this holiday was here.

We went here 1 afternoon after walking a trail nearby. The sea was quite rough for swimming. There were surfers as well. Quite windy as well and cold water as you're on the west/Atlantic side. You can park your car (for free) near the beach...More
