Pretty easy to find, get to Vila do((or da)forgot the right word ^^) bispo and then to the left and follow the signs. Perfect beach to catch some waves or chill out. At the weekend it's a little bit overcrowded but still enough space in...More

this beach is on the western shore and is reached by a nice route leading there. Both times we went there were nice waves that unforunately come with strong currents. So not the best beach to go swimming with small kids, but a very nice...More

This is a wild beach favoured by surfers. plenty of room here and a beach bar. Tall cliffs fall steeply to the beach. The beach walk is several kilometres if the tide is right. Well worth the effort to get here. Away from the main...More

Great beach with fantastic beach bar. Had a very good lunch here of grilled sardines. Friendly owner with good service.

It is a great beach for surfing and for long walks. It's never too crowded. It has lower temperatures (in water and air) than other parts of the Algarve.

Utilised by surfers and beachcombers alike and serviced by a beachbar. Big enough not to be crowded.

Lovely beach with big sand, big skies, big cliffs, big views and big rocks. There are a few surf breaks here and its popular with surf schools. There's a surfboard rental shack and a great cafe and bar selling seafood. Car park fills up.

Long and very beautiful beach walk at low tide. Very few other people there Doesn't look like there'll be much sand at high tide The cafes were closed when we visited but it is out of season Spectacular drive down winding road to the beach

Tides can be very dramatic so choose your time to walk. Low tide you can walk to the next beach at Castelego.
