This is the most awe inspiring little museum that I have ever been in. Exquisite little artworks and large “paintings” made only of shells. The Queen visited the museum sometime in the 60s, so renowned was Ruth Lock’s work at a time.

I’ve tried to visit here several times and each time it is locked up. I have called the phone number but no answer. Sorry to miss it several times.

Such a little find. This gallery is gorgeous. You can loose yourself in the wonderful exhibits - paintings , shell art. and embroidery. Ruth was a gem and it’s amazing that she hasn’t received national recognition - but I am sure that she will. Chris is very knowledgeable about the exhibits which adds depth. The gallery only asks for a donation and is well worth a visit. …
