- Roving616458881801 contributionGood For Short Trips during September End- Very CoolTrip was dated 28 September till 30th September. It was the coolest place in UK with shortest kilometers from planes. Jim Corbet Ramnagar and Almora both were doing in 30s from temperature point of view. After Bhowali route was having less traffic, and after dhanachuli it was very pleasant. Road quality is average and its broken on multiple places or you can say throughout. Nearby there are Muktheshwar Dham temple, Chaule ki Jaali, Zip lining adventure and Bhalugarh waterfall other than these natural places good food eateries and Starescape observatory and other cosmetic points. Overall I would rate it better than Nainital for this time of selection as Less crowded, cooler and you have enough activities to spend time and enjoy your holidays.Visited September 2023Travelled with familyWritten 5 October 2023

A small trek led us there and we were mesmerizing by the beautiful views all around. It is famous for rock climbing but we didn't see anyone doing so. All we did was soak in the pristine beauty of the surroundings.Visited April 2024Travelled with friendsWritten 24 April 2024

What a view. We saw a couple of people rock-climbing, but we were too tired from the walk. Not a bad place to spend some time and relax.

The sunset view is beautiful, can see the himalayas on a clear day. Need to walk a bit to reach the viewing point. But worth the walk.

Its just a hole in a slanted section of rock - the trek up is also not a great nature walk . Only good thing is the valley opens up below for a panoramic view.

One of the best places in Mukteshwar to visit. You can go by yourself, and just hike up for sometime and also plan the temple visit along the way. I went solo, and it was a wholesome experience.

I am planning to visit Lansdowne in last week of August. Will it be safe to travel? (Considering Uttrakhand is landslide prone area during monsoon)

Hi,
We are planning to visit Mukteshwar on 27th june 2021, would it be good to visit during monsoon.
Is this region is prone landslides?

Guides are young people over there and asks for around Rs.250 for 4 points. You can get a bargain up to Rs.100.

Hi,
We are planning to visit Mukteshwar around 8th/10th of September. Is it a good time to plan this trip or would it be too rainy in September?
TIA,
Deepali

I have been to this place in almost every month as I am building my own house near Mukteshwer. Rains will be over by then.
Uttrakhand has 2 region called Garhwal and Kumaon. while almost entire Garwal is prone to land slides and closed roads during monsoon whereas almost entire Kumaon region is full green covered and least landslide so all roads are better and clean.
so No problem to go there.
