This place contains historical sculptures and paintings. the entrance ticket cost is Rs.10/-., the museum has few rooms were stone sculptures are kept, Worth for a short or quick visit.

Walk in without high expectations and you won't be disappointed, I mean for a entry ticket of just INR 10.00 you certainly don't expect to experience 'The Louvre of Paris' - Right? They do have some nice artifacts on display and its a good place...More

The Sculpture Museum is located close to the bus terminal in Mahabalipuram and on the way towards the Sea Shore temple. There place houses a rich collection of sculptures. Worth a visit.

This museum of sculptures contains more than 3000 sculptures. They are of historic importance and is made of wood, metal, brass etc. Mostly images of Hindu Gods and Goddesses are found.Ticket cost is Rs.10/-.

should visit mahabalipuram once at least with kids and family lot sculptures and carving beach light house kids to learn about carving idols.etc.

I visited this place on Friday at 12.00 noon but the gate was closed. No information was there on the gate. So, I am not sure whether it is closed on FRIDAY or it has been closed for some time for renovation. It is better...More
