Monolithic rock cut chambers to depict the 5 royal chambers from the Epic Mahabharat. It is said that though the Pandavas never came here themselves, the architecture has been heavily influenced by the Epic in this region.

The Pancha Pandava Cave are part of the Mahabalipuram monuments. The carvings are intricate and beautiful. Worth spending sometime to check out the caves.

Pancha Pandava Cave is a group of caves dedicated to show the power and might of five kings of the Pandya Dynasity. Looks good from outside. There isn't much on the inside.
