This was quite interesting and unique place. Strange seeing a church that was partly destroyed. The terracotta work there is nice to see.

Historic church - main sanctuary lost I guess 100’s if Years ago but small sanctuary still maintained in the old Apse. Have suffered some vandalism in loss of lead from roof.

This was a sad time to visit this interesting building. Thieves had stripped off the lead from the roof and the interior was being dried out. This tombs of the families associated with Oxborough Hall were interesting in the very damp chapel. the church itself...More

We visited with three teenagers and found it very interesting, with the old terracotta works and the history of the church with its fallen tower. Well worth a visit.

A church of great interest (find out how the spire collapsed whilst school children watched from the school yard). Hauntingly beautiful ruin with character.

A ruin, a beautiful church and unique terracotta tomb. A very interesting history and the teenagers loved looking around it.

The present church is all that is left after the spire and tower of the former church collapsed in 1948 destroying the nave and main aisle. The present church and chapel house some ancient tombs and are very interesting in themselves

What a lovely place, especially in evenings when it is lit up with an orange glow. Lot of history. My father in law actually saw the tower fall down many years ago and remembered all the dust and rubble flying. Very close to a good...More
