Lovely cheerful chap behind the bar - great service there. Everything else was abysmal. We sat in a cold conservatory by the car park, shocking waiter service from monosyllabic person lacking in any aptitude for the job, waited ages and then had some of the...More

Was directed here by our B&B host. The kitchen was very busy with meals, but managed to squeeze our three orders in, and the wait was well worth it, we were not disappointed, real value for money, I can highly recommend this eatery.

Always a warm welcome here. Good food and good beer. Very good entertainment on weekends can get very busy. Near to bus stop and local shops can cater for larger groups in the upstairs room. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.

Dropped in for an early evening meal on a Saturday. Hardly busy. Wide screen T.V.'s if that's your thing. Ordered steak with all the usual accompaniments, plus brie and beetroot tart with vegetables and new potatoes. Negatives: the steak was ordered as medium rare. It...More

Ate till it was coming out of my gills. Such good value. Such tasty food. Huge portions. Personally would have preferred my sprouts cooked less so they had a bit of crunch but that's a personal preference. Now do i have room for pudding
