When we were staying nearby, someone suggested we would enjoy Soudley Ponds, and we did. There's a smooth and even path along both sides of the pond as you leave the small car-parking area. We didn't know if we could walk right round the ponds...More

On a cool, sunny, autumn day this was a delight to visit. The ponds can be walked to from the heritage centre and are clearly popular as a place to picnic, promenade or even simply sit quietly in near total peace. We started on a...More

Lovely walk around the ponds(lakes). Loads of nature to look at both Fauna and Flora. Interesting at any time of year, can be quite muddy so go dressed for it. Definitley worth a visit. Watch out for the cyclists. Plenty of parking
