The quality of the product speaks for itself and it was a lot of fun to visit this vineyard. We enjoyed our brief stop on the way home and recommend this whole heartily.

This literally ended up being a random find for is on our road trip. We were supposed to go whale watching that day but due to mother nature we continued driving. The owner was nice to give us a tour of the "gravity fed" system...More

The wife (me) driving the narrow roads of Nova Scotia, meant that our car swerved ever so smooth and precisely into the Bear River Vineyard for an impressive wine tasting. Jacqui met me and it was like I was chatting with one of my neighbors...More

This is a beautiful small winery located close to Digby. They have a good selection of wines and jams available for sale. We were fortunate to have the owner take us on a guided tour of his winery - very interesting as it is essentially...More

Our stay at Bear River Vineyards was so enjoyable, from start to finish. We were initially greeted by Jacqui, who cheerfully showed us to our guest suite. The suite was warm and cozy, and the bed was very comfortable! A coffee maker, along with coffee,...More

Great winery to visit when in Bear River. Everything we tried was great and it was hard to narrow down what we should bring home. Cute location and friendly people.

If in the Digby area, don’t miss out visiting a historical old barn now turned into this superb winery in the very beautiful village of Bear River. Owner Darren and his highly efficient, knowledgeable crew, Jacqui and Anita, explain the process of making wines with...More

While the product may be good, the pricing used is misleading. Prices shown in the tasting room are pretax unlike every other establishment selling wine in Nova Scotia. This means the actual price is roughly 20% more that that shown. Moreover bottles are only 500...More
