Stop over in Roi Et, one of the "highlights" Nice but not very special. In general Roi Et friendly city but not very interesting.

The highest standing buddha in Thailand is in this temple. It is the Thai Cemetery. It's surrounded by chambers of the ashes of the dead. It's beautiful place.

This is a peaceful Buddhist temple, well worth visiting to view and photograph the tallest standing Buddha rupa in Thailand (60m tall on top of an 8m high base).

This is a must temple (Wat) to visit the sheer size of the Buddha statue is impressive over 67 metre's tall the other buildings are just as impressive.

Huge crowds on what my buddhist lady said was religious holiday. Very impressive temple complex. If you go to Roi Et, you must see this place.
