What an absolute gem! Only an hour from Cape Town situated inside a UNESCO world heritage site for its floral diversity. Surrounded by mountains and pristine beaches and lagoons for surfing swimming diving and hiking. Wildlife in town include the Lynx Leopard Baboons Buck and many birds. Excellent eateries in its small CBD and beyond. Perfect place to remote work. Property prices, especially the few plots left are still undervalued in my opinion.

I just love Pringle Bay, so much to do and I do it! People here obviously care for their environment, it shows. I recently purchased a SUP and ended up exploring the coastline and surfing the beach break. Also paddled up the pristine river and spotted a family of Cape Clawless Otter. Flora, Fauna and marine life abound. They say the wind blows here, no more than anywhere else in the Cape.

If it's tranquillity with diversity you seek, Pringle Bay is the place to be. A beautiful array of beaches, hikes of varying difficulty, vistas to die for, flora and fauna - Pringle has it all. Dubbed as the 'next Noordhoek' it's a must-visit before it becomes too popular. And it's just one hour from Cape Town. You can either approach Pringle Bay via Clarence drive, the most scenic coastline drive, or via St Lowry's pass amongst a multitude of vineyards and exquisite farmstalls. Whales are often seen in the bay, baboons roam the area, and a keen eye may spot a Cape Leopard in the hills above.

Wonderful location. We stayed at Pringle Beach House, which I can highly recommend. It’s the perfect location for a group of friends or a big family to enjoy Pringle Bay. The rooms are really comfortable. Living room, kitchen and the terrace leave no wishes open. And the owner is such a lovely and helpful person. It’s a shame we haven’t met in person.

We were in 'lockdown' here. Cannot image a nicer place to experience such peace in confinement.
Just wave watching, the many birds and occasionally sighting whales. The surrounding mountains and fynbos scenery are stunning.

Pringle bay is almost always voted in the top 5 best coastal villages to live and holiday in South Africa. So its no suprise that plot prices hsve doubled in the last 2 years. Only an hour outside Cape Town it has become thee location for work from homers.

Small seaside town, with the loveliest long, white stretch of beach, hidden behind the dunes! Not so crowded like other places... yet...
Visited several times and spent Christmas in a rental in 2019.

This is one of the most beautiful beaches to walk on. 1.5km of flat beach with beautiful views and a super lagoon/river to swim in that is is fairly warm in summer.
Nice surf spot when the waves are working and a safe swimming beach.
Great place to walk your dogs and enjoy a safe no hassle beach walk or chilled day on the beach.

……Our children visiting from Europe wanted to visit a beach on Boxing Day and although we knew most beaches will be full and our favourite beach is Strand we still obliged and packed the car with the necessary, beach-umbrella, chairs and through-about. When we arrived at Strand there was a traffic jam just trying to get to the beach-front so this was fruitless. So we decided to take the a drive on one of the worlds most scenic and spectacular marine drives around Gordons Bay to Betty’s Bay and about kilometres we saw the sign Pringle Bay so we turned in and just drove through and just as we were ready to turn around we happened on this gem of a find. There was a cut out with parking for about fifteen cars and there a space or two free so we turned in parked and was true-lii blown away with this. The Overstand Pringle Bay beach it looked more like a private beach. Nice stone-stepping pathway leading to the beach. There is a very well maintained Toilet Facility, very clean and even had toilet-paper available. One can immediate-lii come to the conclusion that the people around here real-lii care for the environment as one saw on the pathway there is a fish-line deposit point where anglers could trow away the old spent fishing gut and not leave it laying around on the beach. Th beach was empty with just a family enjoying the sunshine, an anglers or two with one kayaker. At least now we know where to find a quiet spot to relax away from the maddening crowds …….NB! On the way here is a neat niff-tii shopping centre where almost anything can be purchased!…..

Beautiful beach, unrivalled views. Awesome spot for a lazy walk with the family. River ideal for small kiddies to play around in. Clean, private and well kept. Well worth the drive
