Our Dogs love this place,wrap up though it can be very windy along the edge by the River,once you getbround a bit though,there is shelter,stick to the gravel path,to save you getting muddy,or if you have wellies,you can explore the island a bit more,,in summer...More

Walked our dog here with friends as was visiting from Plymouth. Very surprised to find lots of dog poop left on the footpaths. Considering its a nature reserve we expected poop to be left in the undergrowth etc but did not expect to be stepping...More

Marshy saltings, used as landfill now covered with topsoil. Unkempt. pot holed road access to bleak puddled strewn car park, and old boat launching slip. Favoured by people who eat lunch in their cars, and those exercising dogs' bowels. Lots of mud, wild grass etc....More
