We stopped at this Warung owned & managed by Bobo and his lovely family. We mentioned we were interested in some snorkelling and had heard that it was good to swim with the Mantas. Bobo offered his boat. We went snorkelling off the mangroves for...More

If you want to enjoy the forest the fullest: go early. Rent a scooter and get there before the crowds of Chinese tourists conquer the whole scene. Very beautiful place, from the shore and from the sea.

We rented a 2 person kayak for 150,000 for about an hour. Way better than the boats. With a kayak you can get into more tributaries and once away from the rest of the boaters quite peaceful. It was quite surreal at some times, felt...More

We have hired a canoe from the local place when we reached end of the road. the cost was 200000 rupia. I would recommend this rather than guided tour if you can paddle and enjoy exploring on your own. You can't really get lost there....More

We visited this forest as a part of our excursion package. It is a beautiful nature creation, which is worth to see. At the same time it's probably not worth a visit on its own. The boat services could be better, the drive is very...More

The mangroves are beautiful and tranquil but the boat ride is very short and not a lot to it. It’s a great way to kill time and support the locals , kids like it.

The sights and sounds of the mangroves are delightful. The fish once out at sea come up to the boat and the snorkelling is a great experience. I would highly suggest a local tour boat. I hired a local captain to take myself and my...More

A canoe floats through the mangrove, with a driver who doesn't speak English and with nothing to see. (We have been to (Mangrove Swamps before).

At full tide is the best time to go. Good to have a look at their mangrove area, much different from where i live. Preferred the larger more comfortable boat.

much better than expected. It is part of the one-day snorkelling trip we did and the mangrove forest trip was less than 30 minutes. It is right next to Newbro Surfing company who organized our day.

Nice tranquil boat trip into the mangrove forest, amazingly quiet. Loved the fact you are on a boat with a guy and a bamboo pole punting away!

Definitely worth a visit as part of a tour around Nusa Lembongan. There are two option, either hire a kayak (not sure of price) or pay for a guided tour. A lot of the reviews are correct, when you ask for a price for this,...More

Expect to pay around 100,000 for a boat (not per person). You will have to haggle a bit.
