We paid IDR 25k to visit Sikidang Crater and this temple. The complex is not very big but the area has some beautiful scenery. After you have seen Borobudur, all other temples pale in comparison. The temple was undergoing renovations.

The Arjuna temple is definitely worth the visit if you are in the Dieng Plateau area. The climate was very cooling and it was fairly peaceful. This is in contrast to Prambanan Temple which I feel is very touristy and overcrowded.

When i came here, it wasn't the temple that amazed me but the scenery around the temple. i was there early morning, peaceful and so nice to walk surrounded by the green view.

The complex is not that massive, there are several small temples a short stop over if you already in the area.

Since we have visited other big temples in Yogjakarta, there is nothing so special about this site and they are under construction when we were there. I think it will be better when the temples are fully recovered.

Unfortunately this doesn't match up to even the smaller temples near Prambanan as lots of the building have been demolished and materials removed over the centuries. However, you wouldn't travel just to see this site so when in the village it is worth a stop...More

Quite a pretty little series of temples that have unfortunately been swamped under the vast wave of bottom end national tourism. Be prepared to be overrun by people thinking your an alien, having to pay premium prices for access and an endless flood of crappy...More
