This place have a small boiling pond to boil eggs, a big boiling mud restrict people from approaching, and a geothermal ground that can enter for photographing. Others than that, whole place cover with artificial photo scene and stalls.

The distance from Jogya need 4 hours ride to reach, if you have an extra day stay, its another option to come as total 8 hours ride for return trip from Malioboro Street. The Sikidang Crater is just another natural places to visit, the scenery...More

Getting to see a crater so up close and there was a vendor who let you cook an egg inside the crater by using a stick and rope. I dare not eat the egg though.

This is probably the best place to visit in Dieng. The whole area smell of sulphur and you can visit all the bubbling craters, with lots of steam rising. You can buy some sulphur from the many shops found in this area. Wear a mask...More

Some are view from the car to Sikidang, there is 2 volcano mountain. At the crater there is a lot of crop for photo taking which become too touristy 😂 but not bad

Supposed to be a natural site but there are plenty of man-made gimmicks for photo-taking. Otherwise it is an interesting place.
