This is an aquarium located in the marine station of Kyoto University. It's small, but highly educational. Professors take time to curate maybe during weekdays. Entrance fee is only 600¥, free for Kyodai students. Lots of interesting marine organisms to see.

Our daughter was a bit bored as we wondered around. This cheered her up no end. It only cost about $15 (AUD) for the 3 of us. Only took 30-45 minutes.
