I'm not sure why they exist. They didn't really help with anything. There's brochures there, if that's what you're looking for.

The visitor Center is located at the main intersection of town and very close to the Senjuinbashi bus stop. Very friendly, accommodating, English speaking staff. Do drop by for printed information and tips. They also have bicycles for rent.

In the visitor center in Koyasan they really helped us very well to plan our travel from there. They even did make a phone call for us to an other information in Naoshima center to get more information. They speak English very well. Very helpful!
