I’ve been here a few times now and have enjoyed the experience, the menu and the ambience each time. The first time I went, my mother was in tow who has impaired mobility. None of her requirements caused them any problems. This review however relates...More

We used to enjoy calling at the café near the Lake but now it is closed most days which is quite sad. Used to sit near and watch the wildlife but now it is closed off in the week.

A lovely peaceful place to just stroll around a beautiful lake. Spend as little or as long as you want. Lovely tearooms. Totally natural and unspoilt. Car park, free parking.

Not been here for 30 years, what a difference--absolute waste of rime, the weed is right across the lake and impossible to fish unless you are after carp with 3olb line to save snapping with the very thick all over weed--went today 14th aug 2018--don't...More

The actual lakes are very pretty, as is the setting and the surrounding countryside, however, I was left completely baffled by the member of staff who served us at the window kiosk. We requested two bottles of water, a cake bar, and a mint flavored...More

Not been for a few years. Today was z fab summer day. A bit off the beaten track but a beautiful place. Chabby chic in house terms. Very natural and unspoilt. Sit on a bench and just relax!

Yes I'm afraid it is, unless we came in the wrong entrance from the main road, but I don't think we did. As far as we know that was the only access and exit road and it was really bumpy and rough.
