- Alexis P167 contributionsA unique movie experienceI love this cinema, it's so unique with it's vintage feel and it even has an interval with ice cream. The tickets and food are also very cheap. It doesn't have it's own car park but the car park at the library is free after 6pm which is a very short walk from the cinema.Visited July 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 28 July 2023

Pop corn at normal prices. (£1.50 for a big tub) You can take a family of 4 for less than the price of 1ticket at these awful multiplexes.Visited August 2023Travelled with familyWritten 2 August 2023

Welcoming, cosy and comfortable with lots of legroom upstairs in the circle. Loved the mid movie intermission with yummy ice- cream. Great night out!Visited December 2023Travelled with familyWritten 3 January 2024
- J H1 contributionUnique and Fun...but funky popcornOk so, im writing this review after a showing of Ferrari. The Cinema experience was very much old school which was nice, its so cheap as well compared to the big cinema complexes. Sound was Ok, i felt it could have been more consistent but then its an old building with old acoustics so not much can be done about that. My only Complaint here is The Popcorn. Since getting home ive been left with a really strange after taste in my mouth, it was nice popcorn but did taste slightly odd. Like it had been mixed with something else. Not sure how they make it but compared to regular popcorn it has left me feeling a bit odd. All in all a unique experience, nice for a one off here and there. The price makes it much more affordable. But please who ever does the popcorn, maybe change how you pop it ?Visited January 2024Travelled with familyWritten 22 January 2024

What a brilliant cinema. Fantastic place, fantastic service & fantastic value for money. Where in 2022 can you experience what Regent Cinema Marple has to offer? Value for money (ice creams for £1.50 in an interval, unheard of now) great film listings and the owner (I assume) thanking you on the way out & saying “good night”… a true gent & a hero of the 21st century. “Bring back the good old days”. Regent Cinema Marple certainly has.

Brilliant original cinema. Very friendly staff.
But the best bit extremely comfortable seats with plenty of leg room upstairs seating.
A must to visit, highly recommend.

Absolutely fabulous. We went to see “Elvis” and were blown away with such a beautiful cinema. We paid £11.80 for two tickets, you pay more than this in other cinemas for one! You have to try the popcorn, it’s the best popcorn we have ever had.

Went to the cinema I first went as a kid and thought we had booked the circle. At the interval the lovely staff member said 2 had not shown and he took us up to the circle for a different experience. Lovely staff and probably one of the best original cinema's in the UK, a must visit if you are near marple

An absolutely brilliant take you back to the good old days experience. Quaint Cinema with only one screen. Half time ice creams and no adverts. Straight I to the film at a reasonable price. All booked online but that is as far as 2022 played its part. Will Definately go again. It added that the film was first rate.

This cinema is my number one choice to see a film. A proper, well-run cinema, with comfortable seats, and an interval with ice cream available. Good choice of films. Always a good night out. Local cinemas need our support!

Not certain - there are steps at the main door but the exit on to Stockport Road may be accessible for a wheelchair user. It would be best to ring to check.
