Dennis, the owner and driver of the 4 wheeled drive safari vehicle is a true gentleman. we had three full days with him, picking us up at our bush house on Crocodile River in Marloth Park at about 04.45 so we could be in Kruger Park by Crocodile Bridge by opening time. He is dedicated, enthusiastic and knowledgeable. We had the most stunning sights! Wild dogs, families of elephants, all the big 5. On one of the days we were joined by two SA friends who he happily picked up at Skukuza airport and then resumed our drive. Our friends immediately took his number and passed it around as they recognised an exceptional guide! His planning is extraordinary and allowed us stops and refreshments. He'll do half days as well. These three days with Dennis were three of the happiest days of our lives and I look forward to returning. I cannot thank Dennis enough. We didn't stay at his lodge but it has the most beautiful lookout ever!

May 2024 • Couples
Went on a game drive with Dennis in May 2024. My wife and I were the only travellers, so we had Dennis’s undivided attention. After we told him that we had not yet seen any lions in Kruger, Dennis took us to an area we hadn’t been to before, and he believed we’d have more luck there. We were not disappointed, as Dennis seemed to know every road in the park. We saw 5 Lions, and countless other animals. Dennis wasn’t at all concerned about the time, and our drive was way longer than planned. He was more than happy to share his love of the wild with us.
