We came to Marloth Park with the whole family and 7 of us decided to spoil ourselves with a spa visit. I arranged the whole thing with Megan which was so very helpful and was kind enough to even arrange a special bottle of champagne that they had to get outside of town. Thank you so much for that! We were all more than happy with our treatments and spa therapist. My hubby was even so happy that he says he does not want to see any other spa therapist than Chevon :) she was amazing. After our treatments we relaxed at the pool of the grand Kruger lodge and had a nice lunch, which Megan had made the reservation for. Such a nice day!

I have been going to Slide for the past 4 years when I travel to Marloth Park. Megan and her colleagues run an exceptional spa experience - I’m always delighted that a community this small has a spa of this caliber.
Typically I got for a men’s spa package (45 min massage, facial, hand and foot treatments), or a stand alone pedicure.

We came for massages and drinks. Nice environment but for a 4 star establishment this was a very poor showing. The staff are totally disinterested and very reluctant to engage or provide any type of service. Apparently they only have 2 different beers available and none are cold. The people who had massages were also less than impressed. In general a real let down. Rather pass this one and look for a more professional establishment

I've been privileged to visit Slide on numerous occasions while visiting the area over the past few years.
I say priveldged because the first massage I received by Megan was so sensational I just had to keep returning. I try out massages all over South Africa when travelling and her massages are truly the best I've had. Even in bigger cities like Joburg and Cape Town in 5 star spas.
The minute you walk in. Megan exudes warmth and is so thoughtful in ensuring you are completely comfortable while finding out more about you to tailor your treatment to your needs.
My favourite treatment has to be her facials, the organic products and Megan's skills are first class. My skin has never looked so good.
The below one star review saddens me. As Megan's professionalism and care for her clients is incredible and clearly a mishap which can happen to anyone. I dont believe it's a true reflection on Slide Spa, on Megan or her therpists.
Do yourself a favour and treat yourself at Slide! Especially after a long day cramped up in a car in the park!

After multiple back & forth emails with the owner, Megan Fosse, I booked to spoil my mom at the spa for a massage treatment & timed the appointment to co-incide with my brother’s arrival to Marloth.
When no one came to attend to us, it transpired Megan had double booked the treatment slot. When contacted she apparently didn’t have her bookings schedule with her (very professional ??) all she offered was for us to sit around and wait an hour to be treated.
I am a customer who would pay any amount to recieve the best service.In a small community like Marloth, with competition like Grand Kruger Lodge, this is not the type of service any visitor should be expected to accept.
My mom can be treated when she comes to Jhb next, where I would happily have 5 times the price for a treatment - at least in Jhb spa managers and owners know how to give service and to run a business...

I do apolise for making a mistake with your booking. It was unintentional and as I said it was an honest mistake. After the three changes to your appointment times over email, I must have forgotten to change it the third time.
I'm sorry you felt offended by me asking if you wouldn't mind waiting till the other guest had finished, i really did want to rectify the situation.
We have never had this happen before and I assure you it will not happen again. We value our guests and do appreciate everyone that walks through our door. We do pride ourselves on our professionalism and treatments, and I hope one day I will be able to make it up to you and your mother.

Spoil yourself and visit Megan for an awesome massage / facial / manicure like I did. She is a beautiful person and a very professional beautician. I loved the products and my mani and pedi still looks great a week later. Definitely worth a visit to support great local business people and receive top class treatments.

Without a doubt, it was something that I really needed on the day. I was there in January 2018 and not only are they very professional but I would reccommend that if you are in the area that you phone and make an appointment and go there. I just know that when I'm in SA and in the area I will be making that appointment - and so should you.

I visited MP in July this year and booked a day pamper session with Megan. To say I was relaxed afterward is an understatement! She is utterly superb and I will never use anyone else! Professional, friendly and brilliant at her job! 10/10
