Brotherton Park and the Dibbinsdale Local Nature Reserve join as one large, long woodland area. Access is from all sides on Spital Road and Dibbins Hey. Beautiful, unspoilt woodland ideal for a walk

We visit here regularly, and love watching the woodland change with the seasons. Various walks are available, with an abundance of wild life, and something new to see on every visit. We especially like playing Pooh Sticks off Ladybridge!

I live nearby and don't take advantage enough of this beautiful place. The trails are lovely, the ponds, the open spaces and woods are peaceful.

The area stretches from Bromborough Village Road across to Dibbinsdale Road and is a great place to walk the dog or just take a walk through a nicely kept area of woodland. Obviously looks it's best during spring and summer BUT can look great in...More

I found a car park off Spital Road, not far from the Croft Retail Park. I walked through the woods on a leafy path till I came to a pond. All natural and peaceful. A fisherman was waiting, lots of picnic benches, takes maybe 30...More

We've been walking here for 30 years. We tend to start at Dibbinsdale (nasty traffic for approx. 300m down from the Dibbinsdale Hotel(pricey). Follow the Dibbin on whatever path you might choose until you reach a tunnel under the railway. Follow the tunnel through, where...More

This is a super local facility. It's a great place to walk the dogs but gets a bit overcrowded with people and children at the weekend. It is well-managed and safe to leave the car.
