Lovely place for a walk with family and friends. Lots of birds to see including swans, canadian geece, herons etc. Childrens playground, boating and water skiing club. Sheltered walk in parts, plenty of free car parking. Toilet and eating facilities nearby.

This place is perfect for a picnic from young to old, and all in between. The beautiful nature reserve and walking route, great kids playground and free parking make this place fantastic for a budget day out for all the family.

Great place for a short walk in the country - or a longer one if you choose the right route. Fantastic place for bird watchers. ...and the parking is free, which is not that usual these days.

Two large lakes and more if required, lots of activity and wildlife, and the paths are mostly paved, so mud-proof.
