Classic Braid layout. Pity about the electric fences round the greens - The poor quality greens with large areas of broad leaf grasses - The 5 hour round - The astronomical green fee of £62. Very poor value for money. Try fabulous Silloth on Solway...More

Probably the best traditional Links course in the World it says in the club house where they quote the late great Peter Thomson and who could argue, even Tom Watson agreed. This is golf as it should be-- not holes that a a mile long...More

Terrific golf course!! Traditional links golf on the coast in a friendly little village. The livestock on the course is an added bonus to the experience. As many have said looks easier than it plays. Definitely worth a visit if your on a golf trip...More

James Braid designed golf course. Holes 1-9 go north with holes 10-18 returning to the clubhouse. Inward holes have more elevation changes. Not an easy golf course but fun to play. Cows and sheep are nearby but did not interfere with play at all. Electric...More

Wonderful round of golf with stunning scenery and curious sheep and cows. Stayed in the Links Apartments close by and used the gym and pool at Royal Marine Hotel close by. Well worth a visit.

I have been coming to Scotland for 20 years and love playing links golf there. This may be the most authentic of links courses. Community centered, has livestock grazing on many holes, electric fences on every green to keep them off, classic design with nine...More

The restaurant here is very serene and service is wonderful. My food selection was very good. The view is to die for including the sheep and lambs grazing just outside the windows.
