Enjoyed and visit to Loch Brora over the weekend. The loch is perfect for canoeing or kayaking. Remember not to park in passing places when accessing the loch.

Loch & Strath Brora are simply magical so why not pull off the A9 for a wee stop and experience just how amazing East Sutherland is!

Find the loch by default, off the beaten track but worth the drive. Pretty and peaceful. Lots of passing places so safe drive down narrow road.

Have your camera at the ready. A haven of wild life and scenery where you may even be privileged to see an Osprey.

We are currently living next to Loch Brora.....and it is a photographers dream location! Every day seems to bring new surprises, from the carpet of bluebells as you walk parts of the shores, to the deer wandering freely! A decent pair of wellies are recommended...More
