This is a great little discovery in the charming village of Wye. It's a simple bar serving beer and cider straight from the barrel. The landlord varies his selection to ensure customers are offered a moving tableau of flavours and strengths as the months go...More

I love this place for what it is. Everything a Wetherspoons could never be. Idiosyncratic. If you're lucky it'll be open when you visit. The whole micro-place is an experience!

Cheerful and cozy hideaway for ale and cider lovers. Wine also. Excellent quality of service. There's an Apple Mac with a log fire screensaver, too. What more could one want in an age of homogenised gastro pubs? Get the train to Wye - station 100...More

I have tied to visit this place several time but it is rarely open. The opening hours displayed in the window are clearly fiction. If you do happen to find it open it is a simple micropub with an interesting choice of beers.

Went back to Wye after studying there 25 years ago, this would have been my local, a great small and friendly pub not many left like this.

Popped in for a quick pint on the way home from a walk on the Downs. Pleasant atmosphere, great cherry cider, interesting décor. Will definitely be popping in again soon.

Fantastic micro-pub in Wye. Actually used to be a barbers. Good selection of real ales and ciders served straight from the barrels out the back. Just one room, so can get very cosy (and noisy) when busy. But always a great atmosphere. Small selection of...More
