Beers hidden out back, dodgey homemade bar, odd works of art, “stuff” stored in corners, not a great selection of drinks and matching mixers, chatty regulars who look like they might have 1 too many.... perfect! What a lucky village to have this as a...More

This is a great little discovery in the charming village of Wye. It's a simple bar serving beer and cider straight from the barrel. The landlord varies his selection to ensure customers are offered a moving tableau of flavours and strengths as the months go...More

I love this place for what it is. Everything a Wetherspoons could never be. Idiosyncratic. If you're lucky it'll be open when you visit. The whole micro-place is an experience!

I have tied to visit this place several time but it is rarely open. The opening hours displayed in the window are clearly fiction. If you do happen to find it open it is a simple micropub with an interesting choice of beers.

Went back to Wye after studying there 25 years ago, this would have been my local, a great small and friendly pub not many left like this.
