Depending on your age, this is either Aidensfield or Harry Potter to you! either way, a lovely station well worth spending time in before the short walk to Heartbeat country.

They have made real effort to make this look like a 60s station and it pretty much does. Great atmosphere and setting for steam hauled trains. You can see why it has been used on TV and films

Extremely interesting history to learn and the staff are so helpful. Excellent cafe also. Worth a trip on the steam railway to either Whitby or Puckering

Nice station stop on North Yorkshire moors railway , pleasant staff , nice little cafe , ideal for Harry Potter fans as well as heartbeat fans , used in the filming , you can get a platform ticket stamped Aidensfield station if you want

it is very easy to park at the station large parking area parking charge is£3.00 for the day hope this helps

you can book online but you can buy At the ticket office on the station. enjoy your trip ...if you get chance to go over the train line and out the white gate there is a lovely walks over the Moor. best wishes Belinda.
