It was an experience of my life. Have travelled to so many places but this place touched me. It was unspoilt. It is a forest government area, so less commercial activity. Really loved it. A tough climb but I felt it worth it.

This is a small but very beautiful hill station near Palakkad. You have travel through more than 20 km through protected forest to reach there. This journey itself is very nice beautiful view points.It is always better to stay at Nelliampathy to enjoy its beauty...More

We started around 2.30Pm to Nelliayampathy from after completing Silent valley forest jeep trip. 3hours to Nelliyampathy from Silent Valley around 6pm we reached and check in to the room which was booked through Telephone (Hotel Orange Valley, a medium hotel) it was for 2...More

One of the best hill station of south india. I would prefer here going by bikes. There is good photo shoot areas. But its not very clean.

Visited the place from Coimbatore very much disappointed with the climate as it was same as in the foot hills. Does not have much to see than the seethargundu view point and a falls another 15 kms apart which we did not visit. No good...More

Very nice place for one day trip. And also less crowd. We stayed with forest IB that was also good with normal rate of rend.

Visited this place on Jan 26th 2018 with my full family of 17 members.Just after Pothundi Dam,there is a check post of Kerala forest dept.No entry is permitted after 4.15PM unless u have a reservation in authorized hotels/resorts at Nelliyampathi. They will make a call...More
