This is somewhere i've visited quite a few times. The whole site is so well looked, perfectly manicured grass and row after row of perfect white head stones are a mark of respect to the fallen... the graves of 4410 men with just their name,...More

This memorial cemetery is closer to Mont Saint-Michel and isn't as popular as the one at Omaha beach. Because of that it is generally less crowded and that might be preferred for those wishing to pay their respects to the fallen. For those driving, pay...More

Amazingly moving & beautiful place. It really brings it home to you when you are there, how many young lives were lost defending freedom. The staff are very helpful and the site is perfectly maintained. Do visit and reflect on those who sacrificed everything.

Designed like American cemetery at Omaha beach. Each American grave adopted by a French family because they are grateful for assistance in WWII. Very touching story of cemetery origin. Cemetery is immaculate. Worth the trip.

Brother and I were driving around just looking at scenery, stumbled on this second Normandy area cemetery, the Brittany one. Just as impressive as the American one we would see later. There were more than 4,000 Americans buried here. The rolling hills of Brittany were...More
