I don't understand why this beach gets such high ratings. It's just many many overpriced (€35) beds and umbrellas. Don't pay for the beds, it's not worth it. I don't know if they raised the prices to compensate for the loss because of Covid but I never paid this much in Italy. The beach itself is clean and the seawater is nice. Toilets and showers (also paid) located at the beach.

Reserved chairs and umbrellas on line, which was very easy to do via the website, although mid week in mid June, the beach was only about one third full. The beach and water is clean and the facility well maintained. Nice dressing rooms, comfortable lounge chairs, pleasant staff. Many good dining choices within walking distance in the attractive if not understated town. Overall, this turned out to be a very good choice for a beach day, easy to get to, and especially as we were, you are not sure about where to go.
