A lovely museum crammed full of interesting items. The volunteers are brilliant with children and they have a quiz for them to do. We spent over an hour here and will be back again. Thank you for making us so welcome.

It was a pleasure to spend a couple of hours poring over the displays and marine artefacts in the museum. Admission is not expensive and it was fascinating to find out a bit more about Appledore's marine heritage.

I would say this museum is not wheelchair or scooter friendly as it is on 2 floors (no lifts) and the door widths would not be big enough. I can't remember if if there are steps up to the entrance or not.
