Very picturesque bay overlooked with very pleasant coffee shops and restaurants. Dogs can be an issue at least their owners can but only rarely does this detract from a very pleasant experience.

Just the place for a brisk walk, fantastic views. The walk from Cullercoats along the seafront to Tynemouth can be recommended. You generally meet very friendly people.

Picturesque small beach in between the bigger beaches of Tynemouth and Whitely Bay. When I visited in the Summer there were lots of people learning to paddle board. The sea is calmer here as the bay shelters it very well.

One of my favourites in the area, right by a bunch of nice coffee shops and the marine biology lab. Thus beach has nice clean sand so is great to come down to for the summer for an extended period.

Wow, what a beautiful beach & breakwater, so nice to actually walk along the breakwater & have good views looking inland. Very well kept beach with a beautiful RNLI station.

Came here on a blustery day with 2 reluctant teenagers who ended up having a great time on the rocks,it's an small but interesting little bay and the views over to Tynemouth, especially the Priory are quite. spectacular.
