The trek to the temple is not difficult - our 4 year old managed it, albeit being propped on my husband's (strong!) shoulders for about half the way. Its the start of Triund Trek so worth it if you're not going all the way!

We thought of trekking to Guna Devi Temple and started in afternoon. Its a pleasant and easy walk till the bridge / waterfall - approximately took 1 hour. The temple is further 2-3 hours away depending on your pace.

This trek is quite difficult, but favored by the locals who sacrifice goats and chickens for returned wishes...The river on the way down is a great treat in itself.

a very nice little temple on top of the crest overlooking the Dhauladar ranges, there are a few hotels and restaurants nearby to have your lunch or only a cold drink on a hot summer day
