Go through the gate and suddenly their is a peace in the air separate from the town before you go into the church. Once inside elaborate decoration adorns the church.

Historically this church is important to the town and architecturally is shaped like a boat. It houses the normal array of chapels and finery one expects from a church of this stature.

It's in the Casco Histórico de Sanlúcar and close to all the action. The Church of Santo Domingo itself is beautiful and the priest so so nice and simple, speaking to us as we were just having a friendly discussion about life. No need to...More
