We love this park. The fairy village is a must for the young and old. The rose gardens are beautiful. It’s on the prom so when sitting on the hills you have an amazing view across the Mersey. It has some exercise equipment in it....More

Lovely little park with beautiful flowers in summer, a nice cafe where you can sit outside. Bands play on the bandstand on summer weekends. Perfect summer afternoon can be had enjoying the sunshine and the music. Public toilets in the park need improving.

A bit of a gem here. Well worth seeking out as it is peaceful with its wildly wonderful driftwood fairy and creature displays among its winding paths. Nice florals and plants and a cheap brew from the Vale Park Cafe ...... just sit and take...More

Lovely and relaxing, except for the cafe. We have been visiting for years, but the last year has seen the cafe go down hill. Inattentive staff, dirty tables, needs caring management and training. This gem of a park deserves a cafe of equal standards.

When the wife said she wanted to go to the park to see the fairy's I thought she'd lost the plot. Turns out there are. Great Park with a great view. Well kept and interesting.

Vale Park is a perfect place to relax on a sunny afternoon , especially at the weekend when live music and entertainment is often organised in the bandstand. It is well looked after and very close to the promenade.

Vale Park is a little gem, very well kept, lovely plants and flower beds, nice cafe and a band stand for live music at weekends in the summer.

Its a lovely small park and the fairy land has built up over a few years. People bring a fairy, ornament or whatever and it just builds up informally. A local public spirited man keeps an eye on everything to keep it safe... More
