Good selection of drinks, 3 well kept ales, quirky decor, really friendly locals and a great atmosphere! Been here a few times now, a must-visit when in Howden!

Love this place. Tiny, eclectic and very welcoming bar. Always popular with a small but quality range of real ales and the odd Belgian beer. Wish they did more of the latter. Definitely worth a visit if you're passing through

The small size of this place gives it a homely feel and it is a great little place to pass time with friends. Always a good selection of local ales. A really good addition to Howden

Good selection of cask ales, limited space/seating but very nice to stop by and have a drink. Toilets could do with a makeover. Quaint, quirky bar with friendly staff.

Micro pub in the centre of Howden. Lynne & Tony always make people welcome. It's quirky & homely with good beers and plenty of chat. A little gem.

Howden's first & only micro-pub, The Tailor's Chalk, named so in tribute to the old Tailors shop that used to be on the premises. This quaint little room viewed through a beautifully dressed shop window may only hold 15-20 people (i think they once counted...More
