The tarn is fresh water which we filled our water bottles up during our 18mile walk that day. Worth walking all around the tarn through the estate. Ice cream van in the carpark area for a treat.

Made a detour tho see it. Nothing special. Did have a picnic area overlooking the tarn but there were quite a few flies.

A long walk just short of 10 miles but that was our choice to do a circular walk, absolutely stunning scenery , take a flask and take time to admire the views, great walk for the dogs.

There's a very easy walk around the Tarn or it can be cycled. Be careful on the roads - very narrow and twisting.

We parked by the Tarn before going for a walk to Malham Cove and Gordale Scar. Out of the whole walk, although the tarn was nice it wasn't much more than that and if you want to walk all round it you end up having...More

I would think not. It's a still body of water. I'm fairly sure I saw a sign to not to swim in it so there may be other restrictions.

Hi, yes you can. We walked round but you could cycle it instead. Be aware some is on and some off road
