Well worth the $20 entrance fee and we actually used up our full two hours. Take a hat and sunscreen it its hot.

View is amazing! Birds every where, comfortable seating, bathroom and clean water. Loved it! Lots of hummingbirds, woodpeckers, flame colored tanager, Bush tanager and many others. Beautiful flowers, trail and view of valley.

A fantastic, peaceful place to see birds. We went there with a guide from Savegre Lodge. It was wonderful.

To find this garden you do need some faith on the track up, but do it cause its worth it. Lots of birds (humming etc) on feeders with a short forest trail and the garden

We spent a lovely late afternoon here eating cheese, crackers, nuts and fruit while the birds were munching on fruit. We got lots of photos of hummers, tanagers and sparrows. The Acorn Woodpecker, Silky Flycatcher and Buff-throated Saltator also visited.

We spent three hours here photographing hummingbirds. The viewing are was designed by a photographer for photographers. No obstruction to your view.

Yes you can walk there. It is a bit of an uphill hike, but not horrible. You should check in and pay at Savegre on the way.
