This waterfall was really cool, especially, if you cross it, and go down to check out the big rock and cave (bit of climbing so maybe not for everybody)

There is a nice walk along the river to the waterfall. However beware that the second part of the walk after the metal bridge is dangerous. There is a sign which says don't go beyond this point in bad weather. However even in good weather...More

Beautiful facility, but poorly managed. The birdlife is fabulous, but allowing guests to play with drones really diminished our stay, as did the red feet from the floors. You will see quetzals, but paying $50 to drive one mile up the driveway, was disappointing. We...More

Although a hurricane prevented us from taking the full walk to the waterfalls, we were able to see much of the river and so,e of the waterfalls. The walk is well worth it. We even saw the sort after Quetzel bird.

Nice trail until you get the first waterfall. But pretty scary after that point! Don't go on! Stairs broken! Bridges oh my god.. yes you'll see a big and impressive waterfall on the river the most pure of Central America. Does it worth it? Not...More

If you are going to San Gerardo you can't miss this! Never imagened it could be that beautiful. The first waterfall is amazing and you can get into a sort of cave to be near the first waterfall, the second waterfall is a more challenging...More
