My 7-year-old cousin loves reptiles (all from dinosaurs to snakes). It was a really nice experience for him to be able to touch and feel the snakes. The tour guide, Victor, is highly prepared and skilled, so we all were confident to touch the snakes,...More

Our tour guide, Jesus, spoke excellent English and was very knowledgeable about all the reptiles, and other inhabitants. He went above and beyond to make our visit as memorable as possible. My little grandson loved holding the boa constrictor, after some gentle persuasion. The Zoo...More

We spontaneously visited the place and of course tried to negotiate a better price. Only afterwards we realized that we would have also paid twice the price for this tour. It was soooo good. Our guide Carlos was very knowledgeable, really authentic and likable and...More

Not my cup of tea but my kids (14 and 12) enjoyed it. Only 3 stars due to steep entrance fee of 23 for adults and 18 for kids. Though if you have kids under 10 they are free.

Victor is one of the best snake handlers in the country. He was born in the area and knows the terrain well. His son is pursuing a masters in biology and did our tour (in English) throughout the zoo. They both have a passion for...More

An amazing collection of area reptiles and amphibians with up-close viewing and an excellent educational stop for anyone interested. The guided tour takes an hour or two and is well worth the time spent. You will learn a lot.
