Reachable after a short, but very steep walk from Durbach, or by car. The views are incredible, well worth the trip. There is a small restaurant with a roof terrace. We had just a few refreshing lemonades there. You can also visit a wine shop,...More

We came here by chance. The views cannot be missed and I recommend that if you are in this ares, make sure that you visit Castle Staufenberg.

The ice cream was nice but not worth the 3.5 kilometre walk! There was nothing to see as the castle is not open to the public.

We spent about three hours at the complex. There is wine tasting, a tour of the castle, a restaurant and an outdoor terrace. Plus a small store and a chocolate place. Parking available. Lots of photo opportunist.

Beautiful scenery of Durbach and the vineyards from the castle. In addition, it's worth driving through the vineyards on the way to Durbach, very enjoying experience
