Excellent beach although very quick drop-off to deep water so prepare small kids. Afternoon water traffic was high with lots of kite sailing which sometimes got tangled up with other kite surfers or the beach. Be prepared for topless bathing as is the case for...More

We really liked it here. The waves were a perfect size and the water was so warm and fun to swim in. There was a lot of activity and people parasailing, using jet skis, and a huge trampoline on the water. There were a lot...More

The wind and water were rough but it was a great day to get sun. There as a lot of sea weed on the beach but we rented chairs and enjoyed the relaxing wind and sun and getting back to nature.

Orient beach is one of the prettiest beaches in the Caribean. Small to medium waves and clean white sand. There are hotels right on the beach but you can go there from anywhere on the island.

When we went it was pretty quiet. We went to the Bikini Beach bar and restaurant and got two lounge chairs (super comfortable) and an umbrella with table for $30 for two. Little pricey but waiters bring you drinks on the beach and there are...More

Much wider and also longer than most beaches on the island. Has the Kakao beach club/bar restaurant on the northern third (with lounge rental, etc.), Bikini Beach in the middle, and a more (unofficial) clothing optional area toward the south end. Many open public areas in...More

A very pale imitation of its former self with the added problem of huge mountains of seaweed that seem to be washed up every day. Only three of the former beach restaurants have rebuilt and recently reopened (Kontiki, Bikini and Kakao, which is in a...More

Orient Beach is slowly recovering. Many of the familiar restaurants and small stores in the village are open. Roof replacement and other repair construction is well underway at several hotels although The Alamanda Hotel was closed with no observed repair underway. The beach is still...More

As always you have cheap options and expensive ones. for the cheap ones 10 to 15 sounds right. for the gourmet ones it can go up to 30 35 euros for the main course.
