Always go here wen we get off the train and wen we r leaving to get the last train home. Cheaper drinks then most bars a round staff r friendly .thanks

Lovely lancashire pub feel. Recently had a refurb snd the place looks lovely. Nice and cosy. The new management are lovely people, really welcoming. This place is worth a visit

We spent a happy hour in this hostelry looked after by Mein Host n his goodly Wife Fascinating to look across railway line to the ancient Bridge of Sighs which spans the track

Friendly enough people but not my kind of pub, stays open late at the weekend for the party goers but it's lack of carpets and decor make it more like an old western saloon

this a ively and popular pub in ormskirk. All the more so because of the friendly staff and friendly landlady Jan. also lively dj friday nights. very pleasant . good crowd.

This is a totally different place now, seems to be catering for the student and party person. Not bad on a karaoke night but the bar staff will ignore you and serve their friends despite you being stood there for longer. Place could do with...More

The Railway is a very friendly pub with mostly local cliental rough around the edges but service is very good but wouldn't take my wife and kids there, we were on a lads day out called in too watch the football, which actually finished early...More

Karaoke is still there however on fridays now and disco on a saturday. Just gives people an option. Not everybody likes listening to bad singers or microphone sceamers lol.
