Joined to the beach at low tide by a causeway or river crossing (shallow). Interesting climb with remains of an old convent. Great views. Causeway can be very slippery. Worth doing but check tide times.

Just amazing walk but also you have to wear the right shoes as the tide makes the path slippery, but you can take amazing pictures

It marks Lekeitio, the each and its bay, and is easily accesible walking when the tide is low. Not too difficult to swim, too, but anyway, better to know the tide hours just in case. Kids love it very much.

I walked to this island on the 18/April/18 and started from the walk way on the beach in Lekeitio. The island walk covers very rough paths and in places is very steep but it is full of history. There are the ruins of a Convent,...More

Well worth a walk across at low tide for the spectacular views, but allow plenty of time to walk slowly across the very slippy causeway!
