Most visitors to Revel go to the Museum because its collection of furniture, marketry and cabinet makers' tools is truly exceptional.

We visited on market day and on patrimony weekend so entrance was free. Lovely little museum with some really fascinating examples of modern marquetry and students from the local college presenting examples of different techniques with wood. Great shop too!

Much better than anticipated, this is a faultless attraction with in-depth exploration of the arts and crafts of woodwork and marquetry, French furniture, types of wood, history of wood turning and marquetry and currently an Art Deco furniture exhibition.
