A little bit crowded during cherry blossom time but worth to go. Good place for picnic under cherry blossom trees, which are simply lovely.

There are too many visitors at the park; significantly, the Chinese tourists. There are so many places you can visits and they are located not too far from each others.

Lotus fields and a beautiful small lake. Nice views even outside of Cherry Blossom season. A small temple and you can take a self propelled boat onto the small leak. Ideal walking even for a family with small children. Very relaxing in the cool breeze...More

This park was good for families, museum seekers, nature watchers, etc. However, it gets crowded in the mornings when all of the museums begin to open. It's also very hot right now.

Would recommend this place for a picnic. The lake has transformed into a huge area of lily pads or plants that look similar. There's a shrine there too with a lovely bench area perfect to relax and look at the views

Traces of the history and culture of the Edo (old
Tokyo) era remain vividly in Ueno and Asakusa.
Spacious Ueno Park is a great place to relax and visit
a variety of different museums and galleries. At
Ameyoko which starts in front of Ueno station, the
grocery stores and clothing shops are crammed
alongside fishmongers. It gets particularly busy at
the end of the year, when many people go on shopping
