The elevator ride is worth the entrance fee, as the ride as a fancy light show going to the top/bottom. The view is pretty much the same you'll see from the Tokyo Metropolitan Building (but for free).

The night view was fantastic and there’s a lot of high-tech entertainment for all ages. You get to see the city from all angels and take lots of pictures. It’s a lot more fun than the planetarium.
