Awesome venue. Everything including toilets, food and drink are very accessible. We thoroughly enjoyed watching the Tokyo Swallows thrash the Tigers. Atmosphere was electric!

Whether you are a baseball fan, or detest the sport, you must attend a professional Japanese Baseball game - and if you are in Tokyo, go see the Swallows. Buying the tickets: The Swallows have an English-language website, from which you should purchase tickets. Buy...More

If you like baseball, this is a must. We got same-day unreserved bleacher seating from the box office at gate 9, way easier than the online ticket form. We had a great experience at the game, but here’s the two best tips that I’d wish...More

Baseball fans will enjoy watching a Yakult Swallows game. The cheering (with trumpets) is much more coordinated than at American baseball games, and creates a festival-like atmosphere. Another plus compared to American baseball - the game moves much more quickly (no batters stepping out of...More

First of all, I'm not a huge baseball fan, in fact I hadn't been to a 'live' baseball game since the mid-80s, but sports fan or not, if you have time, a Japanese Baseball League game should be a 'must-do'. Meiji Jingu Satdium is one...More

Akasaka / Roppongi
Not so long ago the Akasaka and Roppongi areas were
famous for their nightlife, high-class restaurants,
bars and clubs. More recently, with the opening of
Roppongi Hills, Tokyo Midtown and Akasaka Sacas, the
area has declared itself as the most fashionable spot
to be seen. The area also hosts the National Art

Children's tickets are 500 Yen for outfield seats. Unfortunately the Yakult Swallows web site (assuming it's a baseball game you're interested in) does not break down what a 'child' is--eg. under 4, 5, 6 years or if there is... More
